VPF officer on Bougainville mission

Vanuatu Police Force plays an important role in sending its officers to participate in different missions to help enforce, uphold and maintain the work of Policing.
There were number of remarkable achievements our VPF members that have contributed to peace building in Solomon and in Bougainville and seeing these achievements as they have well represented the VPF in these two Regional Missions .

Upon these remarkable achievements the Commissioner yesterday has farewell Senior Sergent Hamish Garae who is the successful candidate to serve in Bougainville for a period of 12 months.
In a short ceremony yesterday at the Commissioner’s conference room Commission said, “Sergeant Hamish Garae is so fortunate to be selected out from 24 applicants and that the VPF has the trust and confidence in him to reflect our country and be a good abbassodar in the mission.
Senior Sergent Hamish Garae has left for a 3 weeks pre-deployment training in New Zealand before his deployment to Bougainville.
