Prime Minister (PM) Charlot Salwai and Finance Minister Gaetan Pikioune say that the paved road south of Santo which incidentally is one of the priority works that the government will do. The President of the South Santo Council of Chiefs, Chiefs Jara Mele, thanks the PM and his government for making their dreams come true. The chief says that the government passes have said they will do the tarmac roads, but they do not do it. Next week the government will sign the agreement of the device studies for these roads. Mr Salwai says that the South of Santo deserve to have a tarred road because they are rich in agricultural produce. Mr. Salwai thanked the people of South Santo for being able to keep moving forward in life with the lamentable conditions of the roads and to maintain their contribution to the development of the Vanuatu economy.
